Smoke Signals

Smoke Signals was a very great film in my opinion. It was about a young man named Victor, that had troubles with his dad all throughout his life and he never really felt accepted by him. He has a friend named Thomas and they were close. They have been friends all their lives and they did most things together. Thomas was always a very positive guy but Victor would just think bad about everything and Thomas didn't really like that, he wanted Victor to be happy. Victor's dad left him when he was young, he had moved to Arizona and lived in a trailer with no communication with his family. One day, Victor's mom got a phone call being informed that his dad had passed away. Victor was very hurt by this event so him and Thomas left the Rez for Arizona. They got there and met a young female and then collected his dad's ashes. At the end of the film, Victor threw his dad's ashes into a river, and that symbolized his forgiveness for everything that his dad had done to him, at least that's what I thought about it.
