"But most of all, this is a film about love." - Morgan Freeman.
This romantic documentary exposés the amazing breeding cycle of the Emperor Penguin, one of the most remarkable creatures on the earth. They're undying commitment to each other allows them to raise chicks on the harshest environment on earth, commuting 70 miles to the ocean for food.
I think the most stunning moments of the film are during mating, when the couples gently neck each other, and revel in each others company. It might be the most intimate moment I've ever seen any creatures share. The taping of the documentary is spectacular. I can only imagine the hell those camera men went through. Morgan Freeman's voice was icing on the cake. 10/10
