Dust to glory
I like the fact that we were watching a documentary because in documentaries you learn and discover something you did not know existed. I was not aware there was a race that went on for 1,000 miles and that this race has been going on for a long time. The Baja 1,000 is a legendary race for all racers and one of the biggest challenges of a race and also with the most variety of vehicles. After watching this movie and I was aware of what the Baja was I noticed a tragic event. A professional motorcyclist Kurt Caselli died in a crash during a Baja Scoring and if I had not found out of this race before the documentary I would not know what the Baja was and how intense it was. Knowing the background of Kurt Caselli and how great of a rider he was and to see that he passed away in an accident during the race really shows you how dangerous and intense this race really is and how much of a life treating risk the riders are taking.
