beautifully shot, wonderfully narrated, funny and touching. i loved this movie, but was surprised that there was no warning whatsoever that dead baby penguins were shown. be careful taking young or easily upset children to see this movie. some of the themes explored are uncomfortable and include death, child abandonment, and kidnapping. be prepared to answer uncomfortable questions. otherwise, though, this movie is a lot of fun. i, a full grown woman who attended this movie without children, laughed aloud at the silly waddling and giggled at how cute the babies were. i was touched at the loving tenderness and sensuality with which the mama and daddy penguins nuzzled each other. on the whole, this was a great movie.
I do agree if you see this movie there are died baby penguins and its is really sad, but it is still a great movie to see.
