Hairspray

Hairspray was a horrible movie, I don't like musicals anyways because the music is not that great and the people that thing it suck at singing. I would have to say that west side story was better then this movie and west side story was not a great movie ether. I didn't know that hairspray was that big of a think back in the 1963 and how they still had a problem with raises. That the color in this movie was really bright it was hard for me to look at it so many bright colors.  The acting was okay they did a good job by showing how the 60's were it wasn't the best acting I have seen. The director should have made a woman play the mother then Travolta because it was weird see him play a woman.
