Snow White Film Critique
As I watched this film, I was caught off a bit off guard. I haven't seen the film in easily seven or eight years, and I still enjoyed it as much as I did when I was toddler. It was like taking a trip down memory lane, and in the best possible way. I was surprised I still remembered a huge percentage of the lines and what happened during certain scenes, and which ones stood out to me as a kid. The film was ground-breaking for its time, and although it would be considered rather adolescent nowadays in terms of animation, it's still incredible to think about the countless artists and cartoonists that spent years working on the film. I remember as a four or five year old, I was still amazed at the sounds and movements that the characters made and didn't even notice some of the glitches in the film. But looking closer, there definitely are quite a few, but that may be just what makes the movie so thrilling and enjoyable to watch. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was, and still is one of the classics and will continue to entertain audiences young, and old for generations to come.
