Red Riding Hood
Putting a haunting and horror feel to the classic Little Red Riding Hood story sounds like an amazing idea, and it is, but sadly this film failed to do so. Although, it does have a slight haunting feel to it, you can't help but think "Twilight" throughout the whole movie, and the reason for that is because Catherine Hardwicke, director of Twilight, was the person who directed this film. Also, the storyline was messy and doesn't keep the audience's interest, and the romance side of the story is far too overpowering, causing you to almost forget the whole werewolf attacking the town part. Though I will admit, the soundtrack to this film is amazing and really captures the horror aspect. No matter how much I really want to say this was a great film, due to the fact that turning Little Red Riding Hood into a horror and giving it that haunted feel would be so perfect, I can't because this movie just didn't do that.
