Independent Film Critique Hunger Games

The Film Hunger Games acts in the future. North America is distroyed and reconstructed and disposed into 12 districts where the poor people live and one capital where the rich and influential people live.
Every year the hunger games  take place. One girl and one boy from every district are chosen to take part at the hunger games.
In the hunger games the candidates have to kill each other.
The last person who stays alive wins and can go back to his family. The citizen from the capital watch that as a game show.

In this film Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) are the main characters from district 12. Together they fight to stay alive.

I like this film a lot. It's exciting and it has a deeper meaning and an interesting background.
The author of this book/film was inspired of a game show which she saw on TV and then she changed the TV station and saw that child soldiers kill each other in the news. So she combined this two things.
She was also inspired by the Roman History, where the government established the fights in the Colosseum to abstract the citizen from the government decisions and problems.
