The jazz singer

The movie the jazz singer was a very bland movie in my opinion i don't really have much to say about it, in the movie i often caught myself bored and confused throughout the movie. The jazz singer had a great story behind its tedious cut aways to subtitles, the story about a young boy fofiling his dreams to sing even if he has to run from his family. I think the director could have could have detailed then other characters in the story i felt there was only one actor (the main actor) the rest were just background actors i felt anchous to see who and what they are.
