Jazz singer

I can not believe we can watch such a old movie, even its older than my grandparents, but I think this movie its pretty real, show us a jazz singer. He had hard time when he is a boy, he loves singing so much, but his father a church people think, jazz singer is bad, they can not stand a singer, even his father will beat him, he can not understand. This movie let me know, 1930's people old mind, they can not accept new stuff, and old way to teach kids, just beat kids. Let me know how was people's life looks like in 1930, when he kissing his mother and when he singing let feel thats real his voice, anywhere this is real  classic movie in the history.
