What about Bob?

At first I thought I would find this movie annoying because it really bothers me to watch destruction in films. I was happily surprised that I really enjoyed this movie and found myself laughing the whole way through. Bill Murry is always a comedy favorite and he was able to make Bob a really lovable character. I thought it was sweet how Marvin's whole family fell in love with Bob even in Dr. Marvin went a little crazy because of it. I think in the end it made him a better person because in the beginning he was very egocentric and full of himself.
Bob was able to bring out the best in everyone (accept Dr. Marvin) and brought joy into many people's lives. It is debatable if Bob was even that crazy because he was obviously very smart and had the ability to function in certain situations. Dr. Marvin did actually end up helping Bob more than any other psychologist did even if it was very unconventional. My favorite part was the very last scene when Bob was getting married to Lilly and Marvin was able to wake from his coma-like state. Perfect ending.
