Film Critique (Sixth Sense)
I enjoyed the sixth sense because is was very suspenseful and misleading. There were so many hidden things I was unaware of, such as MALCOLM BEING DEAD! For some reason I never took into account that he never talked to anyone other than Cole in the film. I thought it was clever how the movie showed the characters cold breath to emphasize when a ghost was around or something was about to happen. It made it more intense because you knew something was coming that the character didn't. When I found out Malcolm was a ghost it surprised me because all the other ghosts looked scary or had blood on them. You never saw the blood on him till the very end. For how young of an actor Cole was in this film, he did really well at making you feel his fear. The scene with him and his mom in the car was probably the best of the whole film because you can tell how sincere both of the characters were. Malcolm never showed much emotion during the film because I suppose he was used to being around kids like that, but he really opened up when he got to know Cole. I enjoyed this film and would definitely watch it again!
