Dust to Glory Critque

Dust to Glory is about more than just a race, its about humans, and why the human race does what it does.  Some people entered the race to try and win because that is what they are about, and for others it was just to be a part of something with other people.  It didn't matter to some what place they got, as long as they crossed the finish line, and to others first place was all that mattered.  I liked the idea that this movie was able to get across by talking about the race allowing anyone to enter.  Professional racers where competing against amateur's and newcomers.  It was very well edited together with a wide variety of captivating footage from helicopters and helmet cameras of the race.  The interviews fit in nicely with the footage and music.  I would recommend this movie to anyone who has an interest in racing and in human nature.
