PUSH
This movie let us know, sometimes do not trust government, they are pretty ugly in somethings. In this movie talk about there are some people in our earth have some supper skill, like some of them can watch the future, or some people can control people'd mind. Every government want to know how they get the power like that, first expriment start German during the world war two, after the world almost country join this, they catch a lot these people, almost of them is dead. they have a strong drugs, just a girl survival from the drugs. She ran away with the drugs, she wants to save these people like her.And Nike's father is a great pusher, the government worry about some day they can not control him, so they just killed him in a hotel, of course Nike also get push skill. Push
I was really surprised by how entertained I was by this. There were many negative reviews of this film and after watching the film I realised how many critics are actually quite lazy. They derided the plot as convoluted but actually I found it complex but understandable. To dismiss it as a heroes knock-off is also unfair. It's a sci-fi film but that doesn't mean all sci-fi films are the same. The film makes good use of its Hong Kong location more so than any recent film I've seen and the characters were memorable. The special effects were there for the story and not the other way around. I usually read film reviews but am glad, in this instance, I ignored them.

Push
I thought push was a fantastic movie, it left me hanging at the end I love when movies do that. I think this movie was the best movie that we saw in the syfy movies we have watched. I think they did a great job on portraying the super power or what ever they had and the movie was made in 2009 so hey were good with CGI. I thought the film was pretty good it was real nice and the camera move meant. I thought the acting was good except the one guy that was called the hider and we was working for the good guys. The directed should have the movie longer then we could find out what would happen to her mother.
Push
The movie Push was a absolute great film i loved the si-fi look to the movie, it captured some cool shots involving special powers. The movie had tons of seances that were very pretty shot, they really captured the culture in japan, i could see the culture well and there ay of life. The movies plot was clever and well thought out it had great unexpected twists and things i wouldn't have expected, movies that have that perk keep me watching and on the edge of my seat throughout the movie. Overall the movie was great the story, plot, actors and special effects were also marvelous, two thumbs up.
PU$H
Push was a very good film, and it might be my favorite one so far. The cinematography was magnificent and the actors all did a great job. The one thing I found annoying was all of the screaming power scenes. The movie was really good overall though and I enjoyed that they were able to mess with all of those Asians and they messed with the Watcher and they got her dad to slap her, which was pretty cool. I recommend the film to everyone. 10/10
Push
The movie Push successfully correlated the possible with the impossible by relating the transformation of human evolution due to experiments. The movie introduces a number of abilities that have their strengths and flaws including pushers, watchers, and movers as the strongest ones. Watching this film was exciting and entertaining throughout the movie and the director did a good job of not overpowering a certain group as a whole
push
Push was a pretty dark sci fi movie, in my opinion it was a little over acted. throughout the whole movie it feels like there is a lot more going on than there actually was. it made it confusing but at the same time very simple, then when the movie ended it made you kinda as yourself "is that it?" you feel like there needs to be more but there wasnt. the entire time you feel like there is something that is left out, the movie seems like it has great depth but truly does not. it was annoying to watch and made me feel anxious. aside from that i thought the filming and acting was great, as it should have been they spent plenty of money on great actors.
推進 (yeah that says push)
Push is a great science fiction movie and the cinematic principles were great by bringing in history to the "superpower" stand point, by claiming that the first experiments on the people were done by the nazis; which the nazis did experiment on jewish people. This film did a great job putting superpowers into the real world and making it as realistic as possible.
Beasts of the southern wild
This film was a great watch! Although there wasn't quite a clear plot at least for myself. The storyline was fantastic, and it was cool to see how attached people can get to their own homes, and the life they are used to living. It shows how hard of a time people have when branching out from what they know and love. I give this 6 flooded towns out of 10.
Push....
Push is such a good film, it captivates the audience from start to finish. There are aspects of mystery, action, adventure, and science fiction in this film. I wish they had continued with the story and made a second movie so we know what happens to the characters and know how the story unfolds with her mother. I see a lot of similarities with this movie and other summit entertainment films from the music to the and held camera effect at times and lighting. If you were to watch Twilight and then this you would hear a lot of the same instruments, dialog pauses and greenish bluish film tint. In both those movies you get a slightly cold feeling from the lighting and colors used. This movie was a summer block buster hit but still had the vibes of a low budget indie movie. The acting was good and the cast has all gone on to do successful things (captain america).
Southern Wild
Beasts of the Southern Wild was a great film and story line/production for a low budget film. The resources used were incredible and the scenery was so precise. This was a great film to introduce people to what the "bath tub" is and what living conditions could be for some people and what they have to deal with when the area they live floods.
Push
This movie is just believable enough to keep you connected with the characters and feel as if there is a possibility the same thing could happen in the real world. The plot layout was very well executed, and the movie made a lot of sense. There was superb acting along with great sound that truly made this movie great. I give this 9 out of 10 injections.

Beast of the Southern Wild
The independent film Beast of the Southern Wild produced by Benh Zeitlin in 2012 is an reality science fiction film and about a girl named Hushpuppy, who lives in an uncivilized place in Lousianna. Her mom died when she was young and her relationship to her dad isn't the best because he isn't happy with his life so he drinks the whole day. Which makes it hard for him to understand his daughter's excitement to explore the ''world''. So that makes the relationship difficult but one thing is important for him to teach her. "She is her own man". She can decide what she wants to do and who she wants to be, no one can tell her. She doesn't has to look like a girl in a pink dress just because this is how girls have to dress. If she wants to, she can look like a boy and that's okay.
I liked the end of the film a lot made me think.
The acting of Quvenzhané Wallis, who plays Hushpuppy, is amazing. This girl is just 10 years old and does a good job. The end as she cries when her father dies she acted really good.
The film production cost about $1,3 million and for that it's really good. The beasts were computer animated and looked almost real.

Beasts of the Southern Wild
I enjoyed this film because the main character; Hushpuppy, reminds me of my niece. In the film she was a little rebellious girl, and it seemed like she wasn’t afraid of anything. Hushpuppy and her dad seemed to have a difficult relationship, but it was cute how they grew closer as the film went on. The only thing I did not enjoy about the film was the quality. Since the camera was hand held, there were a couple scenes that were difficult to watch. The camera angles were good though, and I noticed that some of the shots were of random things to show the environment hushpuppy was in. Through this film I leaned that family relationships are bitter sweet, and that having optimism in life; like Hushpuppy, makes life a whole lot easier. At only six years old she had been though so much and her family wasn’t always there to help her. I was impressed with how good she was at acting for how young she was. There was one scene where she was able to start crying and it didn’t look forced at all. I am not sure of the time period this was supposed to represent, but I am guessing it would be for at least ten years ago. If I was the director, the only thing I would have done differently is find a different filming technique to make the film a little more steady looking. Besides that, I really enjoyed the film:)

Beast of the southern wild
I thought this film was really a artistic film and this film is a touching film. I felt like the girl was very strong through out hole film when I was six I was not the independent. I learned that you cant take shit from other people and you have to be you and let anyone down. I would have to say the filming with out a stand and just holding was not that good of idea it made me sick at some parts of the film. The acting in this film was great the little girl did a fantastic job in acting. Over all I thought this film as great and the wildebeest looked almost real for a low price film.
Beasts of the southern wild
This movie has a lot to offer the audience, it not only provides entertainment but is also a social commentary about government and norms. This movie was shot on handheld camera, and at times the shaky nature of the film made me feel a little queazy when combined with the graphic images of various slain animals but I was able to look past the few negative aspects to value all the hard work that went into this indie film. This film seems to throw out all the social exceptions we have all come to know, from allowing children to wonder around with no supervision and hang out with strangers, the principles of basic human hygiene, expectations for a suitable living environment, ideals of overly compassionate parents and admiration for doctors and help from others...yet still captures an beauty and purity that other movies have not been able to. If you were to describe the "Bathtub" living conditions to the majority of people, they would probably cringe, yet the people living there would rather die than leave. This is not a film I would watch over and over again with a bunch of friends for fun (not a light warm-feel-good film) , but I think everyone should see it and really take some time to think about the implications of this story. The acting felt so organic and natural, there were points during the film I thought I was watching a documentary rather than a movie.
Beasts
Beasts of the southern wild was one of my favorite sundance films, last year in Millers film class we watched a good chunk of it and ever since then i wanted to see the rest of it. i watched it on hbo go a few weeks ago and ever since then its been my favorite independent film. the movie is extremely symbolic, the beasts represent something more than you can see with your eyes. the beasts represent struggle and the battle hushpuppy goes through. the movie is fairly stressful, and to represent that they have the beasts. at the end of the movie when everything seems to fall into place, and everyone gets a lot the beasts are no longer a threat. aside from the symbols, the movie is absolutely amazing. just to think how low the budget was and to film such a great movie is shocking. instead of spending a ton of money, they just used a lot of skill. everything from the filming to the acting, they didnt have any crazy cameras but instead they used amazing shots and filming techniques. the acting alone is amazing, its unbelievable that wink was pulled out of a sandwich shop to come act in that movie with absolutely no background in acting at all. beasts of the southern wild is my all time favorite indi film, and i could see it a thousand times over again before getting sick of it.
Beast of the Southern Wild
In this low budget, independent film it showed a plethora of fantastic movie production techniques and symbolism. The main character, Hush Puppy, is an ambitious four year old that has a lot of difficulties in her life ranging from her fathers harshness to her demanding situation. The way this film did not conform to the typical societal norm not only within the story of the movie, but also in the way the film was created took it to a new level. It did not produce what one would typically would see in a film. The aspect of uniqueness really gave this movie the drive it needed to entertain, attract, and keep in the audience. The Beast of the Southern wild was a great film and I hope there will be another like this.
Hush Hushpuppy!!!
The Beasts was an extremely powerful movie. It was amazing to think that the budget was so small. There must be a lot of talent to be able to film so well on a small camera like the one that was used. I love the different themes that were portrayed in this film, but I think the most important one was overcoming weaknesses and understanding the weaknesses of others. This movie hit me like a sledgehammer and really changed my philosophical perspective on my life. I am so glad that we were able to watch this movie, thanks Miller!
BEA$T$ ØF THE $ØUTHERN WILD
Beasts of the Southern Wild was a really great movie even though it had a really low budget. I really enjoyed it because 'Hush Puppy' was super talented for being so young, you can connect to some of the things she goes through during this film and she was a great actor. Her dad in the film did a really good job as well, he left his deli shop in Philly just to be apart of this film and he better think it's worth it because I think he did the right thing. Hush Puppy and her dad have a rough relationship in the film and it's upsetting because there's scenes where Hush Puppy will get hit by her dad, and then she says that she can't wait until he dies so she can eat cake on his grave. I recommend this film to everyone. 10/10
